SELLER REMARKS

This pro-built Pro-Touring 1967 Mustang fastback has every trick you could want under its vivid red skin. Trading on a Shelby-esque look. it packs serious firepower in the form of a stroked small block. a gorgeous ostrich skin interior. and a reworked suspension that'll keep it tight with some pretty serious hardware.

Sometimes you know a car is right from the start. and this is one of those cars. With bright DuPont Flame Red paint. it will certainly stand out anywhere it goes. but it also nails the stance and adds a few custom details that will make necks snap back for a second look. Those Shelby-style stripes are silver. not white. which gives it a custom look. and the glassed-in ducktail spoiler out back looks especially trick when combined with stock Mustang taillights. Of course. it goes without saying that the bodywork underneath is exceptional and the paint has been buffed to a brilliant shine that shows off the vivid red finish to great effect. Fresh chrome bumpers are show-quality. and all the little details that make Mustangs so beloved are still intact. including the quarter panel vents and race-style gas cap out back. Up front. a blacked-out grille and tri-bar headlights give it a unique look that practically screams "Performance!"

You'll be absolutely blown away by the upgrades inside. Deeply bolstered buckets from a late-model Mustang have been upholstered in black leather with ostrich skin inserts. and the folding rear bench has been finished to match. The stock door panels look especially slick with their brushed aluminum inserts. which go great with the dashboard full of Auto Meter gauges. A billet tilt column and a fat Grant 3-spoke steering wheel make it easy to get comfortable. and your hand will naturally fall on the shifter for the 5-speed manual gearbox with its Steeda Tri-Ax shifter. A/C was discreetly added using factory in-dash vents and eyeballs under the center stack. which houses a Pioneer AM/FM/CD stereo with speakers scattered throughout the interior. Round out the look with a set of drilled aluminum pedals. a fire extinguisher between the seats. and a neatly finished trunk with hidden battery and stereo equipment.

But the hardware is the real star of this show. The engine is a 302 punched out to 331 cubic inches thanks to a Pro Bullet short block and topped by a set of AFR aluminum heads and an Edelbrock intake and carb. With a snarling F303 camshaft from Ford Performance. it cackles and barks and feels like it could pull forever. A big Griffin aluminum radiator keeps the hot small block cool. and with upgrades like shock tower bracing. a coil-over front suspension and tubular upper control arms. handling is exceptional. Four-wheel discs provide all the stopping power you'll need. and with long-tube headers and Flowmasters. you'll have no problems getting attention. The transmission is a World Class T5 backed by a Currie 9-inch rear. all sitting on a suspension that gives this car the look of a crouching tiger. Custom-built 16-inch American Racing wheels are a great choice for a vintage Mustang. and sit on 205/55/16 front and 245/50/16 rear Kumho radials.

Full of documentation and receipts. this pro-built Mustang is turn-key and totally wicked. Like what you see? Call us for all the details!
