This is one incredible looking black on black 1970 Mustang Custom Fastback.   The car features a 5. 0 Liter V8 with a Paxton SuperCharger and 5-Speed Manual Transmission.   Winner of the 2010 American Thunder Award at the West Coast Nationals.   Hasn't been shown since.

3. 50 ratio rear end. Hedman powdercoated headers. flowmaster exhaust with X pipe. Heidts Crossmember with tubular control arms and coilover height adjustable shocks.   No more shock towers in the engine compartment. Custom 20" wheels and tires. hurst shifter. white faced gauges. 600 watt stereo system. full custom roll cage designed for easy entry.   Racing style seat belts. power rack and pinion. power front disc brakes. Heidts Mustang II IFS front end upper & lower control arms. spindles. all custom front end.

 

The body on this Mustang has been customized extensively. but you wouldn't know it.   The subtle body mods extend from one end to the other. the one off rear tail panel. no visible gas filler. quarter panels and trunk lid all customized to give it that one-off look that it has.   2 custom billet grilles in front with all new glass in front and rear.

Fort Dodge Ford began in October of 1996 when Casey Johnson. his wife Deb. and two sons Nick and Matt moved to Fort Dodge. Iowa to purchase the existing Ford Lincoln Mercury dealership. At the time. the dealership was located several blocks away from the current location and featured a one-car showroom and 19 employees. After nearly seven years of growth in the initial location. Casey and Deb decided to make a long-term commitment to Fort Dodge. They purchased the Toyota franchise in July of 2003. and built a brand-new facility to accomodate the growing business. Casey and the entire Fort Dodge Ford team wanted a facility that would make the people of Fort Dodge and surrounding communities proud. so the dealership was built with that in mind.
