Probably the very best red SL300 R107 currently offered for sale in the UK. This is my nice weather car. garaged in a carcoon when not in use through winter. I know the full history of this car from when it was first delivered from the main Mercedes dealership to the wife of the then Chairman of a well known London department store. Treasured. serviced and looked after throughout it's life there is a full and comprehensive service history supported with over 15 previous MOT certificates. tax discs. service bills. invoices. original manuals and a service booklet stamped right up to date. in fact just last week at TMR of Preston where they went through the car from back to front. on top and underneath and were totally at a loss at its original pristine rust free condition. they were able to balance a 50 pence piece on its engine whilst running it is that smooth and quiet ! The service consisted of all oils. filters inc engine. rear diff. gearbox etc. coolant flush. air filters. greasing of under parts where required and a full check over with instructions of please replace. repair ANYTHING that needed doing !


The paintwork is original. perfect. ripple free and shines like a mirror ! The chromework equally is perfect as are all the rubber/plastic parts. The front and rear arches are perfect. The interior is like brand new. unworn. unmarked and EVERYTHING works perfect ! You could bring your lunch and eat it off the engine bay. I kid you not. The hood is perfect as is the rear window. The matching hardtop is also perfect and is heated and works 100%. To drive this car will astound you. it still drives tight. smooth and powerful. not a squeek. rattle. hesitation or anything. the underneath is bone dry with absolutely no weeps. leaks or drips anywhere.


  The car comes with an original perfect condition wind deflector as seen in some of the photos. The car has its original TWO keys.


The car is currently MOT'd whilst July BUT I will further MOT for another 12 months from purchase. I re-taxed the car for 12 months at the start of April so that is paid till April NEXT YEAR. The car will come with an expensive car cover suitable for indoor AND outdoor wet weather use.

I am in no rush whatsoever to sell this wonderful car. people stop and stare and admire wherever we go. it's value is increasing yearly and I have seen similar mileage vehicles in not as good a condition realise £25k plus. I think mine is a bargain !
