Up for sale in our Houston showroom is a one off 1973 Chevrolet Corvette with a 350 V8 traveling through a Turbo 350 automatic transmission. This Corvette is stock and the rear end is no exception. At the top of this V8 is a stock 4 barrel Carburetor on a nice factory intake manifold. Upon glancing at the Corvette. it’s very apparent that this is a frame off restoration. The interior is all new with black leather and carpet that matches the exterior tastefully. On all four corners you will find a new set of polished factory wheels and white raised letter tires. With creature comforts like air conditioning. power steering and brakes you will enjoy the ease of making this car do whatever you desire. In 1973 the Corvette’s transformation was from muscle to touring sports car. Chevrolet redesigned the body mounts and added radial tires which definitely did improve the Corvette’s ride quality. and interior sound levels were reduced by 40%. The chrome rear bumper was carried over from the previous year. However. the chrome blade front bumper was dropped for the federally required 5 mph standard. The bumpers are like new on this beauty and it is bathed in a beautiful yellow paint job. The exhaust on the ’73 has a more finished look as it exits the rear of the car. You will notice the front and rear glass are both new as are the bumpers and emblems. Inside you will find a new headliner and rubber seals around the windows and doors as expected for a frame off restoration. The bird cage has been completely restored on this beauty and everything under the body was cleaned restored and painted. This car is a dependable car that can be daily driven for so many reasons. The exhaust and brakes are all new and the transmission and engine has been rebuilt. Pictures are available upon request for the frame off restoration.
