Sadly three classic cars. a classic caravan and 4 family vehicles means one has to go and the Rover is unfortunately the least used. The recent addition of a child in the family is also keeping me away from my toys in the summer months! Auction with low reserve or BUY-IT-NOW. this one has to go.

I purchased this vehicle a few years back from a local enthusiast who had bought it fully restored and kept it in very good order. It is garaged and regularly driven / shown. but less than 200 miles this year is too few to justify such a beautiful car. The original restoration is extremely good. Includes brand new wiring harness and an excellent standard of rebuild from scratch. all original.

In good show condition with just minor paintwork to recommission - see photos. The paint damage is a scuff that's been on the vehicle since I've had it and is only a few hundred quid to put right but just haven't got round to it. I wanted to redo the bottom half completely as originally the car was not two-tone but will leave that decision for a new owner. Chrome is excellent throughout

MOT and Taxed. an excellent runner. quiet and so smooth. History includes original buff logbook showing first owner as Sir Thomas Padmore. the civil servant responsible for the introduction of motorways. Always nice to have a bit of history.

Correct radio and period/correct tow-bar. No mechanical / electrical issues whatsoever (with the exception of the dashboard clock which I've recently noticed only gives the right time twice a day). Correct upright handbrake. overdrive. front bench seat. a beautiful car to drive.

Interior is top notch and very original / clean but would benefit from a retrim to make this car truly first class.
