246 GTS - Superb Condition - Drives Perfectly - Matching Numbers

1974 FERRARI 246 GTS

This USA 246 GTS is numbers matching.   It was first sold to a Mr. Richard T. Smith of Atlanta. Georgia in 1974. Mr. Smith kept it until 1982 when it was traded to FAF Motorcars.   It was then sold to a Mr. Donald J. Madak of Marietta. Georgia.   In 1989 this Dino was sold to Mr. Ed Tauber who had extensive restoration work done by Tillack and Company in California.

In 1990 and due to the crazy market pricing. this Dino was sold to a Japanese collector and had remained in this collection until May 2013 when it was re-imported to the USA.

A full service has recently been performed along with update to stainless steel sport exhaust.   Upon our recent inspection and road test. this Dino performed flawlessly with excellent power and perfect gearbox.  

This Dino is correct jack and a Ferrari tool kit. an excellent opportunity to purchase a Dino that has been loved and cared for from new.

The exterior and interior are not Pebble Beach. but honest and proper throughout with no disappointments.   It does have the various stone chip. etc.   I took it to a Ferrari Concour this past weekend where is won and award for second in class. but this is just a club concours.   I am very tough on the cars since we have done Pebble Beach restorations and have shown on concours lawns throughout the world.   It is not new. but not old in any way.   It is beyond honest in every way and has obviously lead and excellent life thus far.
