1941 Cadillac Other

This is a desirable pre-War model prior to shut down of auto production for war industry.  All body and interior trims are complete.  Grey leather interior.
Performance: In just 10 years after the Model A. technology had evolved with V-8 performance to cruise comfortably at 65 mph. suitable for modern highways.  Its modest flat-head V-8 was replaced with a 1971 Cadillac 500 c. c. and its matching automatic transmission.  It weighs just over 4000 pounds.  Talking about neck breaking hot rod performance:  A little tap on the gas and it's going 90 mph!  I can tell you. it's really a fun car to drive!  (Don't drink. )  
Installation: Professional engineering and installation is flawless.  The stock differential was retained in favor of keeping the original rear axle. brakes. wheels and wheel covers.  Instead. the drive line was custom fabricated. i. e. with 71 front U-joints and 41 rear joints to mate with the stock differential.  12-volt conversion with modern gauges.  Battery disconnect switch serves as anti-theft device and for storage safety.  
Package: The vehicle presents quite well with a Gold top on '41 Cimarron Green Poly.  It is a nice paint job with clear coat.  The car starts. idles. drives. steers and stops as it should. . even better with automatic transmission and power steering.  Often. one never knows how these mechanical creations would come out until it's all done. part of the risk.  This is not an abandoned project. . no unfinished bugs or quirks.  It is ready to cruise or show as is with pleasure.  Registration has been current for many years.  You would be just as proud an owner a year from now.  If you had built cars before. you'd know you can't build one like this for the price.
Logistics: Best of all. 1971 replacement parts are readily available at reasonable cost.  Front bumper guards with cross bar had been returned from plating shop for some time. and are included. It also comes with an extra hood with hinges and fittings. if your shipper would pick it up.  (Picnic basket and glassware are presents and do not go with the car. )  Large boxes of years accumulation of hard to find spare parts come with the car: including extra door handles. tail light assemblies. radio grille. a set of spare U-joints. spare differential. air vent assembly. wiper arms and blades. specs and sources reference from research for OEM parts.  This is as good as it gets. a marriage of classic authenticity and modern performance.
