I am a Dairy Farmer and am not available to take calls between 6am and 9am and again from 3pm to 6pm every day. as I'm busy getting the milk for your coffee and breakfast from my cows. Please send a message here and I will get back to you ASAP.

Note: for some strange reason only ebay understands. they are forcing me to add a postage option. if you can figure how to fit a car in a post box.  I'm happy to mail it to you. otherwise. it's pick up only.

For Sale is my truly unique bodied 1927 Model T Ford Shooting Brake.

The body was built by a well known member of the Model T scene and I am the only other owner since it was restored.

In recent years it has unfortunately just been sitting in my shed as I don't have the opportunity to rally the car anymore.

Prior to it being stored. I had the engine rebuilt after the original crankshaft broke. Now fitted with a counterbalanced crank and new Babbitt bearings. aluminium pistons and timing gear. a high compression 'Z' Head and rejuvenated magneto. rebuilt starter motor and an extra external oil lubrication line for the front bearings. It is fitted with  a 6v alternator conversion although I still have the original generator if you're keen for the associated headaches with originality.

It runs well on rebuilt coils but also comes with a True Fire electronic ignition system if you wanted to use it. It is also fitted with an Anderson timer. new leads and a rebuilt coil box.

The transmission was given a going over. but was in good order anyway. it is now fitted with wooden band linings as the last set (Kevlar) were too easy to overheat and glaze. not to mention risking cracking the drums. It is also fitted with a transmission filter screen.

Since this work was done (by a well known club mechanic) it has done less than 5 hours of driving.

The diff was rebuilt about 5 years ago when the original Babbitt bearings in it broke apart.

More information and photos of this work are available on my old Model T website www. modeltcentral. com

The paintwork is in pretty good condition with a couple of marks and some minor damage from petrol when the old fuel tap leaked (now replaced).

The beautiful timber work is in excellent condition and needs to be seen to realise just how much attention to detail was put into its design. Although based on tourer body. it has been built with a little bit more leg room than most Model T's (I'm over 6ft tall) and is very comfortable to drive over distances. The last big trip it did was from the Mornington Peninsula to Echuca for the Centenary celebrations (on the old motor). It took all day. but was great fun.

If you have any questions. please ask. If you want more photos. please ask.

The car is listed elsewhere. so it may get sold despite being offered here.

Now for the unpleasant ebay stuff.

If you choose to pay by Paypal if its offered (which apparently I cant refuse) YOU will be responsible for the fees they charge on top of the purchase price. The car will not be released until these and the purchase price have been received in full (and cleared).

The car was on club permit and is not transferable. It otherwise should be considered unregistered and without a roadworthy certificate.

If you've read this far. I'm open to consider SENSIBLE offers. If you try to start knocking off thousands of dollars. you'll just be wasting everyone's time.

I DO NOT WANT TO SWAP THE CAR FOR ANYTHING OTHER THAN CASH SO PLEASE DO NOT ASK.
