This is my 1985 Porsche 911 Carrera 3. 2 Litre for auction. I am currently alternating between working in Denmark and Ireland as an environmental consultant. consequently the car is not getting the use it deserves and I have reluctantly decided to sell it.
The car is finished in  Moss Green (Dark metallic green) with a grey/green leather interior and was supplied new by Dick Lovett Specialist Cars (Marlborough) Ltd on 2 August 1985. This UK specification 911 came with various optional extras including front and rear spoilers and electric seats.
The car has a full service record from new:

The owner's manual/service book is fully stamped and I have all the receipts for work carried out from 2004 to the present. This work has included fitting new wheel bearings. rear torsion bars. oil hoses. brake pipes. belts. suspension bushes. and gear linkage. The 915 Type. 5 speed manual gearbox underwent a complete rebuild with a new clutch in 2006 at 102. 00 miles by BS Motorsport Ltd. nbsp;once the gearbox oil is up to temperature this is very smooth and precise to use . Having previously driven a 911 with the newer C50 Type gearbox I don't believe the C50. fitted after 1987. is as great an improvement over the old 915 as certain experts claim.
The car has recently had new tyres (Pirelli P7s front and Falken rear). these have done less than 100 miles. plus a new battery.  Mechanically it is in very good condition; it starts first time. every time. has been very reliable and surprisingly economical. returning 25-28 mpg if used sensibly. There are no oil leaks from the engine/gearbox and the engine oil pressure is excellent.
The interior is in very good condition with no rips or tears. the leather on the driver's seat bolster is slightly scuffed but this should disappear with some leather feed. The hood is clean and weather proof; this folds up and can be stored in the front boot. The hood has had a small 20mm split on the front leading edge professionally repaired and a new head lining has been fitted.  The Porsche 911 comes with the original tool kit. jack. warning triangle. air compressor and even the factory supplied cleaning/waxing kit. The factory fitted space saver spare wheel appears to be unused and still has the tags attached.
The  bodywork is generally very good. though to give an accurate description there are four localised areas of blistering namely at the bottom of the front near side wing (70mm x 50mm). beneath the off side headlight (30mm x 60mm) and on the top of both rear wings (20mm x 30mm). adjacent to the roll bar (See Photos). The internal floors and boot floor are rust free. There are a few small stone chips on the bonnet and a couple of very slight parking dents from the supermarket (Too small to photograph). The car is very presentable and I was advised to use it for the summer and get the rust spots tidied up in the winter; a local body shop quoted £250. 00 to do the work.
I had the car HPI checked by mycarcheck. com (Certificate included) it confirmed that the 911 has a clean record; there is no record of the car ever being in an accident. stolen or subject to outstanding finance. The factory applied stickers in the nose and rear of the engine bay are still present. which indicates that there have been no front/rear repairs.
Considering the car is now 28 years old it is in a nice clean unmolested condition and with a little tidying would make an exceptional 911 Carrera. The car is  currently garaged in Stourport on Severn. Worcestershire; garage space is  needed for the usual family junk - bicycles/lawn mowers etc so the car is being offered for auction.
Genuine bidders only please; I previously tried to auction the car on Ebay but  I had to cancelled the auction on 20 July due to some idiots bidding the price up and then cancelling bids because they had allegedly 'Bid the wrong amount'. Therefore I reserve the right to cancel bids from those  buyers with a feedback of less than 50 or any history of retracting bids; if either of these apply please contact me prior to bidding. At the end of the auction the winning bidder is to make contact within 24 hours to arrange payment and collection. The preferred payment is in cash. any cheques or bank drafts will need to be fully cleared before the car can be released. Should you need any further information/photos or wish to view the car please contact me on 07525 071236 or through Ebay.
Good Luck and Enjoy the Auction!
