M3

Description

The car was built to combine robustness. reliability. lightness. road dynamics and a high torque engine. based on parts that are easy to locate and maintain. in order to be used during high performance driving schools. it was never raced.

The body was entirely stripped. the frames reinforced. a full roll cage added and most body panels replaced with fiberglass panels. A fully adjustable suspension was installed along with a GM Corvette LS engine-transmission. The result is a very well balanced car that weighs only 2700 lbs.

On the track. the car is at home along with BMW M3 e92. Porsche GT3. Lotus Elise. Audi RS4. etc.

All intrumentation is new Pro-Comp racing type

Body

·        Instrumentation : Pro-Comp race digital programmable : RPM. Speed. Pro Comp oil temp. water temp. oil pressure and fuel level

·        Driver's seat : New Cobra Suzuki GT. Passanger : Used Sparco Evo 1. Both have 5 points harnesses

·        Quick release steering wheel

·        Insulated floors against heat and noise with insulated aluminum floor mats

·        Fire extinguisher

Mechanical

·        Never raced. only two weekend driver's schools since commissioning.

·        Engine head and accessories are Corvette LS1-Block is cast iron for durability. 390HP @ 5500 RPM and 405 lbs torque @ 4000 RPM

·        Stand alone programmable computer for injection. adjusted for Gas available at all pumps (Super)

·        Transmission is  a 6 speed –T56

·        M3 LSD differential rebuilt by Diffsonline to 40% slip

·        Racing quality large aluminum coolant radiator

·        Engine oil cooler

·        Accusump anti cavitation oil reservoir

Suspension

·        JRZ double ajustable shocks with external reservoirs

·        Car height adjustable at each corner

·        Front adjustable camber plates . rear adjustable racing camber arms

·        Adjustable front and rear sway bars

·        Front stress bar

·        Polyurethane or metal bushings everywhere

Braking

·        M3 ventilated Aluminum/Steel discs

·        BMW M3 calipers rebuilt and no-drag modified

·        Front to rear bias adjustable from driver's seat

Wheels and tires

·        Dry; BBS 18 ‘' with Toyo Proxes R888. 25% used

·        Wet; BBS 17'' with Continental Extreme contact DW. new

Others

·        Turner Motorsport race anti cavitation fuel pumps kit

·        Porsche main fuel pump

·        Fire extinguisher

This is a track car only. not allowed on the street so there is no title for it.
