Very Very Rare 3litre V6 Alfa Spider L.H.D. 12,500 miles only, Utterly Stunning.

This is believed to be the only Alfa Romeo Spider in existence with this specification. it was commissioned and supplied by New Trade Ferrari Engineering of Doha-Qatar in 1997 and presented by the Royal Family of Qatar to an esteemed oil rig manager. he rarely ever used the car travelling only 1. 33 miles before he was sadly killed in a shipping accident in the Gulf in 2001. The liability investigation into the accident took several years during which time the car was securely stored. the car was flown back to the U. K. in 2003. although it was issued with an SVA certificate on arrival his immediate family never used the car and it was only registered in June 2006 by the member of the family who inherited the vehicle.   That person revered the car but felt uneasy and a little unqualified driving it. I purchased this beautiful carriage in 2008 with 3104 registered miles on the speedometer.   I had looked long and hard to purchase a classic low mileage left hand drive for my second home in Tenerife. classic because the age of a vehicle depicts how much import tax is liable. the older the car the less is due. this car was. (and still is). in virtually new condition but it is a 1997 vehicle so would cost very little to transfer to Spanish plates.   Due to medical reasons my plan to retire to Tenerife is no longer a foreseeable option so I must very reluctantly part with this much admired motor car. it is an understatement to say it is 'stunning' I cannot park this car anywhere without attracting interest and admiration (not just from enthusiasts but from anyone in close proximity to it). The bespoke 17" sparkle finish Ferrari Momo alloys were designed and colour coded to match the red leather reccaro seats by New Trade Ferrari of Doha. Alfa badges could replace the Ferrari one's if desired. the magnificent Alfa Romeo V6 is awesome and truly exhilarating and so i'm assured. very uncomplicated to maintain for ultimate performance. I have had the car chassis waxoiled yearly and there are absolutely no bodywork corrosion issues as it was custom treated and manufactured in white on commission. There are a few microscopic stone chips on the front of the shell-like bonnet upon very close inspection but nothing more. (there is a shadow from the reflection of the sun on the bonnet in one of the photographs. this is not a blemish or a mark)          The car is currently registered with an extremely desireable cherished number plate which I may sell separately. if not required I will retain the number. for payment details phone 00447811041397
