For sale in our Milwaukee Showroom is a beautiful 1970 Ford Mustang Boss 302. The Boss 302 was a result of the growing Camaro/Mustang rivalry of the late 1960s. as the Camaro was threatening Ford’s stronghold of the pony car market. By 1970. Ford had made some tweaks from the original Boss. including the side “hockey stick” stripes. new grille for 1970. the dual exhaust system was redesigned. along with the competition suspension and a standard Hurst shifter.

This Boss 302 backs up its namesake in almost countless ways. It underwent a professional rotisserie restoration with only 500 miles on it since rebuild. The entire vehicle was gone through on the initial rebuild and further work was done to ensure the longevity of the vehicle. The blower motor was replaced. windows were adjusted to ensure a better fit. the clutch was adjusted. and the paint was touched up further to eliminate any defects from in the months since the original rebuild.

There are very few Mustangs of any kind that can hold a candle to this. Driving this Boss doesn’t take much skill. as it purrs like a beauty and shifting from gear to gear is near seamless. It roars down the road. while still providing the driver a simple driving experience with power brakes and steering and a comfortable vinyl interior that surrounds its passengers and creates a comfortable. yet exciting ride.
