This vehicle came to us from Palm Springs . a from  a retired citizen who had owned the car for many years. The vehicle does boast a older  frame-off restoration and has been sparingly used. it has held up extremely well. Judging by its under side.  paint quality etc. You can tell the vehicle has been very well maintained. The gentleman we got the car from commissioned the restoration and spared no expense. It was the car of his dream's. a family vehicle his father bought new and over 40 years later  he purchased a similar car and as tribute to his father he restored it and drove it. We found the vehicle at a car show. Where the old man would frequently drive and show off of his prized possession. he  would even win from time to time. he never really left the Palm springs area  except for a couple trips west to LA for events etc. The vehicle has been sparingly used and is a prime example of a very desirable design. The car has been siting and did need a aittle attention when we got it. typical items such as Carbs. fuel. electrical lighting etc we have corrected. We have driven the car to several cruise nights and have plans to show the vehicle at a few events this summer if its still available  its one of our personal cars and we love it very much SAD  to see this one go.  

 

 

The big news on the 1949 Cadillac focused on engineering the first year for the new Overhead valve V8 was completed just in time to be mated to this highly desirable body style as we all know  dramatically changed in 1950. Due to its advancements people say the 1949 Cadillac offers the most modern performance with a truly classic design. The only difference from a 61 series and a 62 series is some trim pieces both are stunning and highly sought after.  

 

The vehicle is powered by a 331 V8 with automatic the automatic was a 174. 00 dollar option. This vehicle was fitted with black leather interior which makes for a very comfortable ride. All headlights turn signals etc work as they should and the vehicle is ready to cruise. Paint is good. stainless trim is good. chrome bumpers would benefit from being redone ( due to a small area in the front left corner that peeled)  but over all is good. The car is a fun and exciting car to own. its great for cruises and car shows. They are very seldom seen and top honors are awarded constantly. Do miss out or hesitate on this opportunity to own a Fastback Sedantte.

A Non-refundable 25% deposit must be received within 48 hours of auction end or buyer must call to make special arrangments/ down payment  for deposits. Final payment must be received during the next 5 WORKING DAYS. Payment can be made by Cashier's Check. Money Order or by Bank Wire Transfer Funds must be cleared before car leaves our establishment Cashiers checks must clear for ten days as well  unless verified by the bank.
