1965 GMC Other

GMC  STEPSIDE PICKUPI bought this truck last year.  My plan was to make a shop truck with a patina paint job and garage graphics with a plush interior and old school Cragers and white walls.  This truck is an excellent candidate for that. I wanted a truck that was great mechanically but easy to maintain and use. The previous owner worked on this truck for 5 years until he had hip surgery and could not finish it. He went through all the mechanicals.   removed all rust from the body and painted it with PPG etching primer and 2 coats of epoxy. I put it in my garage. nbsp;cleaned the gas tank and ran the engine now and then to keep everything in working order.  I just bought a new street rod at a car show last week and I am selling all 3 of my toys to get it in the garage. I have a pic of it at the car show.   There are still things to do but This truck can be driving  in a couple of weekends. I have a restored 1949 Chevy and a Killer 1947 Aero sedan I will be listing
REBUILT 400 HORSE POWER 350 ENGINE. the previous owner had a machinist he worked with at the ship yard rebuild the engine. The block was sent out to a machine shop.  I don't know all the details of how the engine was put together but it has no miles on it except for being run in the driveway to break it in. It sounds beautiful and has the sound that you want from a Hot Rod
The exhaust is brand new with 3 inch pipes and new CERAMIC  HOOKER HEADERS . Pure Fire stainless steel mufflers. and new hangers
10 bolt Chevy Rear End. with new shocks
New Clutch. pressure plate. throw out bearing
New 100 amp. single wire distributor
New radiator. fan. heater box. hoses
New HEI distributor and spark plug wires
New front green tinted windshield and window seal
New chrome door handles. taillights. tailgate chains. brackets. new door hinges. nbsp;and turn signal lenses for the hood
New polished stainless steel door seal plates with GMC script
The transmission is a 4 speed on the floor with a new Hurst Shifter
The brakes and wheel cylinders are completely rebuilt with new brake lines and hoses
Floors and cab are very solid with no rust in the cab corners

I have new vent window seals. rubber for the door window openings and some other rubber parts that I cannot think of at the moment but will give the buyer everything I have for the truck.

I have only driven this truck back and forth in the driveway and it seems very sound mechanically. I have great confidence that the engine. transmission. brakes. rear end. etc are all sound as described to me by the previous owner. He is a well known Hot Rodder. but I cannot guarantee everything.
I have listed the vehicle honestly but there are no warrantees or guarantees. Truck is sold as is where is. but I do not think you will be disappointed.
