This 1964 L75 327ci/300hp Saddle Tan Corvette Coupe. built with optional the 4-Speed manual transmission. power brakes. air conditioning. leather interior and added side exhaust presents as a moderately modified restored Corvette. with an un-restored chassis. The car's trim tag. which appears factory original. indicates it is a St. Louis body Corvette with a build date of D11. which translates as December 11. 1963. The Corvette Birthday Book published by the National Corvette Restorers Society identifies Wednesday December 11. 1963 as the day VIN 40837S106859 was built. The car's paint code of 932AA indicates the car's original exterior lacquer finish was Saddle Tan. The trim code 898CA indicates the original interior to be Saddle Leather. The VIN Tag appears to be the original factory tag.
The car stands nicely. with all the body panels lining up properly. The gaps between the hood. fenders and cowl and doors and fenders appear factory original. The car appears to have all factory original body panels. with the underside bonding strips in place. The hood is not the factory original hood; it is a 1967 big block hood. The car's Saddle Tan exterior finish presents in excellent condition. The chrome bumpers and polished stainless steel window trim moldings are also in very good condition. The car rides on Weld Racing Wheels and Cooper Cobra Radial G/T tires. which are in excellent condition. The original factory wheel covers are still with the car.

The carburetor in place is a service replacement Holly carburetor. The radiator and radiator fan are aftermarket replacement items. as are the hoses and fasteners. The air conditioning components have been removed from the car; however. they remain intact and go with the car. The original exhaust manifolds have been replaced by exhaust headers. which are in excellent condition. The original exhaust manifold goes with the car.
