Ford Capri Mk1 1600 XL Rare Pre Facelift

If you are already searching for a mk1 chances are you already love them and you certainly won't need me talking up what a great car it is. however have to say this is a particularly nice example! Great condition and completely original and untampered right the way through. incredibly original colour and black vinyl roof-i have lost count of amount of times people have stopped to chat to me about it! 

1972. rare pre face lift model. Owned by the same family till 2002. then one owner since then. I have all paper work/mot's etc since 02. (Even have the original owners manual!) and has been garaged and maintained its whole life.

It says 60. 00 miles on the clock. and looking at the great condition of the engine/running gear we (myself and local mechanic) believe this to be accurate. Mechanically she is perfect and starts every time (even after 2 months of hibernation in the garage over the winter) 

Interior is in fantastic condition as well. the ceiling isn't sagging and the dash is not cracked (both common issues in mk1s) the seats are all absolutely perfect with the exception of a couple of small tears on the drivers seat. (Pictured)

All electrics/fans/lights etc working perfectly.  

Body wise structurally she is fantastic. floors. engine bay. boot. and door sills all absolutely perfect (pictured) no previous welding done. Underneith has a good coating of waxoyl and have had it up on the ramp and from we we can see also looks fantastic-also no previous welding. The paint work is great with the exception of a few chips/scuffs. The chrome is pretty much spotless. The only issue that may need attention at some point. are that the rear arches have previously had a small amount of repair work which is starting to show (pictured). the front valence has some bubbling in the corners (pictured) and there is one little spot of rust on on the passenger side front wing (pictured) I am being as up front as possible in this advert. and have included photos of all the issues mentioned. If anyone has any more questions or would like to request more photos please just let me know. This car is not quite concours. however is more than good enough to just to enjoy as it is. or with very little work it could be immaculate.  

The capri will also come with a brand new £200 outdoor/indoor cut to fit car cover and a couple of Haynes manuals.  

The price advertised is negotiable. how ever I am in no rush to sell her so please do not approach me with silly offers.
