1997 Ford Other Pickups

I have up for sale my 1997 Ford F250 Crew cab short bed four wheel drive. I purchased the truck in October of 2012 with 363. 00 miles from the original owner and four years later it now has 392. 00 it is not a daily driver but could be. I just took a 2500 mile trip and had zero problems. The truck is extremely clean for being almost 20 years old and having almost 400. 00 miles on it. I had the bed repainted because there were some dents that I just couldn't live with. the paint job is about an 8 out of 10. close to matching the rest of the truck but hard to put 20 years of fading into consideration. looks very good but I'm picky and think it could have been done better the bed mat is covering holes that were drilled as there used to be a fifth wheel hitch from previous owner.

Here's the things that have been done since I've owned it. Alpine CD player. replaced factory speakers with JL audio. and put 2 Phoenix gold 10” subs cleanly behind the rear seat. ran by a 5 channel Phoenix Gold amp and sounds great. it has a separate bass control nob under the dash. Alarm with keyless entry. TS 6 position tuner. 4” front springs and 3 inches of blocks in the rear. It has air bags. 4” exhaust. 35” BFG all terrain tires about 8. 00 miles on them. True Mickey Thompson Alcoa's that I bought last September from a guy that had them sitting in his garage for 15 years never mounted. they were still in the boxes 16x10.

The motor has not been touched to my knowledge. I replaced the water pump in 2013. I replaced the valve cover gaskets and while I was there I put new fuel injection harnesses in. pulled the Turbo pedestal and replaced it with an EBPV delete pedestal. new o rings as they were leaking oil. I replaced the intake hose. new fuel wishbone. new down pipes and doughnuts and took the exhaust manifolds off and had them surfaced. it had 2 new Napa batteries installed 9/18/15. The truck doesn't leak any oil.

The Transmission was rebuilt by the previous owner at 355. 61 miles according to the receipts I was given. it does leak some Trans fluid looks like the gasket is leaking the Trans shifts good and feels normal.

The exterior is in really good shape no major dents. does have normal wear and tear for the age and miles I took a picture of the only major scratch on the driver front fender it's through the paint and will not buff out I would have had it painted but worried it would be more noticeable than the scratch itself. there are some chips from the freeway driving on the hood but overall looks good.

The interior is in great shape there are no tears in the seats and the headliner is in perfect shape. the E brake light on the dash has a mind of its own it works sometimes but doesn't always light up when the E brake is applied. the dash has no cracks. all gauges work as does the cruise control. I put a brand new steering wheel in 2013. the AC blows cold as the heater works great also. I believe everything works as it should minus the E brake light.
