Hello. nbsp;   My name is Russ Rodriguez. I have been in love with the 550 Spyder for the past 20 years and have made it my living to fabricate. restore. repair and build 550 Spyders. I take great pride in my work and attention to detail.  It has been my pleasure to work on this very Special  1956 Porsche 550 (550A) replica that has been owned by the same owner for the past 10 years.  He has put a lot of extras and has spared no expense.  Only the best. Starting with a Powder coated gloss black chassis. Ball Joint type 1 front torsion suspension. Coilover rear suspension. with hi performance Bilstein shocks all around. Correct 205mm five lug disc brakes all around. nbsp;Hydraulic clutch. upgraded racing style pedals. correct 550 hand brake. tall 550 style shift lever. quick release (removable) Nardi wood steering wheel. correct 550 gauges. additional oil temp gauge. racing style plexiglass windshield with dash mounted pedestal mirror. Fibersteel (NLA) custom aluminum interior with exposed lightning holes under doors. Fibersteel reproduction 550 jack properly installed next to passenger seat. Fibersteel (NLA) custom aluminum fuel tank area with racing style foam filled fuel cell under aluminum gas tank cover with correct hold down straps. flip top filler cap. painted and detailed under hood. functioning front hood latch system. Fibersteel aluminum front outer fender wells. functioning front brake ducts. simulated front jack points.  Blood red tail spears pen striped in gold to give it that little detail. Under the clam shell you will find a professionally built type one 2. 2 liter engine with all the goodies including the awesome 911 style fan shroud. external oil filter and cooler with electric fan. dual ceramic coated Y style exhaust system. This engine is very fast and reliable as it's not your run of the mill type one engine.  The only way to get great performance and reliability out of these engines is to have it built by a race engine builder.  One that spends countless hours on the track and on the dyno. checking. testing and improving any and every little detail. The transmission is a Rancho Pro Series freeway flyer 388 ring and pinion. Trust me you won't be disappointed with this professionally built and highly updated 550 Spyder.  Tested and proven turn the key and take off!   
This car is currently in my shop (Azusa California)  as we have performed the standard fluid changes and top offs. gone through the car from head to toe making sure it's all tight and ready to go.
Options:Aluminum passenger side half racing tonneau. Full black canvas full tonneau with a zipper down the middle. Car cover. Removeable helmet fairing. Original Glass windshield with frame and all the hardware. Decals are removable. Vintage style racing helmet. YOM License plate (currently registered).

In response to some questions. This Spyder started it's life in 2002 as a Vintage Spyder. but has gone through extensive modification. upgrades and shake downs to get it just right.
