1983 Porsche 944 for sale
Current customer rating: (102 votes ) based onThe body panels are all straight with even gaps and no rust. The Sobel metallic paint is in very good condition for its age and shows a nice shine. The flaws that include a couple small dings and cracking paint caused by sun exposure on the passenger's door. The front lower fairing shows some scrapes. but is still in good condition overall.
All panels are original and the car has reportedly never been involved in an accident as supported by the Carfax. All rubber and plastic trim are in great condition.
The interior presents a clean. well-cared-for appearance. The Cadbury brown leather seats look firm and free of any splitting. The door panels are also in great condition and the original carpet has been protected by Porsche floor mats. The dash has a few minor cracks.
All electrics and gauges function correctly including the original Blaupunkt radio. I recently replaced the blower fan ac relay with a new factory Porsche replacement and the A/C is now said to work correctly. This 944 is equipped with a box for cassettes and coins in the center console. option code #M423. The rear hatch struts are worn out and need replacing.
The 944 is powered by a normally aspirated 2. 5L inline-four paired to a 5-speed manual transaxle. It runs very well with no current needs.
With a nearly even front to rear weight distribution. the 944 is a balanced and good handling car. This Porsche is fitted with the factory sport suspension option code #456. which included a 23. 5 mm front sway bar and a 14 mm out back with stiffer sport shocks all around. The underbody is in clean condition and shows no visible rust or accident damage. The car wears cookie cutter wheels with nov visible curb rash that are wrapped in Michelin tires with good tread.
This 944 is a great example of a very well kept car that can be still used as a great driver or a car that can be tucked away in a collection that will still turn heads.
Selling the car as is. I am willing to transport/trailer the car to your choice for a variable cost depending on mileage. for other shipping needs i am open to help coordinate your shipping needs.
I'm flexible with my schedule to show the car. it is located in Orange California and is garaged and covered. I want the car to go to a good home.
I can also provide start up and driving videos if needed.
