Ford Escort Mexico RS2000 MkI Mk1This is a racing Escort MkI. suitable for Classic Touring Car Champioship/Top Hat/etc etc.
It started life off as a 1971 road going 1. 6 and was rebuilt to full race spec some years ago and has been previously owned and raced by Peter Fraser and Martin West. I bought it about four years ago. This is the Escort I raced with Jeremy Clarkson at Lydden Hill in The Italian Job DVD. It is ready to race with a recent complete full engine rebuild and recent body respray. I have just had the suspension. shocks. gearbox and brakes completely rebuilt too.
