I spent 12 months+ researching and talking with Porsche experts. and reviewed many cars. before embarking on purchasing this car. This Porsche is probably the very best of any Original Porsche. without ever being stripped for restoration. and is 100% rust free. never been welded and with excellent maintained mechanics. and unbelievable documented low mileage at 115K miles in 40 years… The Gorgeous White Gold paintwork. and tan interior along with the Porsche 911 Carrera wheel's. makes this Porsche a stunning looking car… First owner purchased new from Sierra Porsche Audi in Riverside. California USA in August 10. 1976. I have an original odometer statement. the Porsche Dealer original window sticker. original sales certificate. original lease agreement. and Original emissions document. First owner retained car for 30 years. Second owner retained the car for a further 9 years. and I purchased the car in 2015. The 2nd owner based in Houston. Texas acquired the car in 2007. with slightly faded paintwork. and carried out a professional strip and disassembling of all the necessary parts to provide a first class repaint to freshen the 35+ yrs. old factory paint. Being a dry state car. the body was solid and had no signs of rust or repairs when repainted. Exterior colour was changed from the Original Cockney Brown to a Porsche colour: White Gold. The interior was in such good condition that the original dash and door panels remain. The rest of the interior was replaced including headliner. sun-visors. custom Coco mats. and original type seat covers. Also at this time the engine was rebuilt with a renowned and entrusted Porsche engine specialist. and fully documented with a Raby 2056cc engine kit and new high performance heads. The new engine offers a substantial increase in performance. Factory standard being 85 BHP. and the upgrade circa 125 BHP Also during the restoration the other drive-train components were replaced including the brakes and suspension components. Upgrades to the original factory air conditioning for even better performance were also completed at the same time. The original Blaunpunkt AM/FM radio works well and comes with the car. However. a Retro Classic unit with I Phone hook up and Bluetooth was installed for modern convenience. And the Porsche retains the original Porsche tool kit. hand books and original spare tyre. In 2014 original Porsche 15” cookie cutter wheels with new radial tyres were installed. I have upgraded the wheels to a set of Polished Genuine Porsche 911 Carrera Hackmesser Turbo Wheels. which further enhanced the masculine look of this Icon shape. Quoted in November 1975.
