This is a very nice Chevy Chevette.    I bought it about 5 years ago from the people who kept it in the family since new.   I have the original sales receipt.   I just dropped about $1400 to get the fuel system going to include all new fuel lines from gas tank to carb. cleaned gas tank. new inline fuel filter. new standard spark plugs. new spark plug wires. and new distributor. new electric fuel pump and fuel pump. new valve cover gaskets.   Within the time since I have owned it. I have done brake work. new tires. new battery. new timing belt and seal. rebuilt carb and tune up.   I no longer use the original fuel filter. but a bigger inline fuel filter which seems to work a lot better.   The original fuel filter on the carb is small and seems to not be as efficient.   I have done other maintenance as well as oil changes about every 3000 miles.       All the lights work. it starts and stops as it should. turns as it should. shifts asit should.   I have the original hubs to it. just took them off to preserve them.   AM radio works as it should.   The car gets attention everywhere it is driven.   Wipers work too along with the heater and fan.   Interior is excellent. and dome light works.   I also had a new muffler installed about a year ago.   These cars arecute and great on gas.   Comes with manuals.   I bought the car with 30. 00 on it. and it now has about 45. 00.   The carpet on the back seat has come off the toppart of the seat.             The photo with the grey spark plug wires and distributor cap is the new stuff. and the photo with the orange spark plug wires and black dist cap is the old one.   The spark plugs on it now are proper ones for this car.   A couple of years back. the plugs were changed out at Firestone; however. they put on the wrong kind which burned a small hole in the distributor cap.   But that has since been replaced with a new distributor cap.   She is not difficult to start with the electric fuel pump; although. you can here the pump running when the car is first started.   Once the car is on the road. the sound of the car and radio wipes out the pump sound.   Good and dependable little car for someone who wants to drive it daily.
