1949 Chevy pickup Solid stock farm truck. styled as 50's shop truck. only selling because I fancy a car (more passengers) lots of work carried out and loads of new parts fitted including new chrome grille front and rear bumpers. aluminium radiator. new water pump and thermostat. new starter motor from the US. all new ignition ( coil. lugs. leads. dizzy cap. points and condenser ) split exhaust manifolds. new aluminium offenhauser inlet manifold with dual reconditioned Rochester single barrel carbs. custom built dual choke operating mechanism and true dual exhaust system with smithys glass pack mufflers. electric fuel pump. brand new fuel tank and sender. retro sun visor professionally re wired to 12 volts. electric wipers fitted. rear bed tonneau cover. original wheel rims with inner tubes and whitewall rolls Royce tyres (slight cracking) set of 4 brand new tyres to be included in sale. I'm sure I've missed loads! Box of spare and new parts including new door rubbers and window felts . There are a few quirky bits and pieces like vintage adjustable spanners for interior lock handles and meat grinder handles for the window winders there is an iPod stereo system and speakers under the bench seat just needs re connecting. All in all a good solid original truck. runs good and loud and sounds like a 50's hot rod straight six. Tax exempt and no MOT needed.
