2001 Chevrolet Express

Chevrolet: Express Base Model   Description:

What we have is a 2001 Chevrolet Express Cargo / Passenger Van . I say both because it's a passenger van but the title says cargo van.   This was a fleet vehicle that saw very little use.   It ONLY has 34. 13 miles as of today (10/19/16) but will go up somewhat as I'm driving it.   It is an awesome van and I would keep it if I could.   This van is ready to be put into service from day one.

There are no mechanical issues whatsoever.   I just changed the oil and filter and flushed and filled the cooling system as it has been sitting and I wanted it to be ready to go.    Air filter is clean and the transmission fluid smells nice and clean.    There is front and rear air conditioning which are independently controlled and blow ICE COLD.   Brakes are good and SOLID.   All lights. switches. vehicle warning lights. etc. work.   All the window and window latches work.   All the glass is good. transmission shifts solid . the steering is right on and there are no strange noises. etc.

The interior is excellent in my opinion.   The drivers door panel has a broken tab and a screw was added to secure it.   The arm rest has also been secured with two screws.   The driver's seat has a small tear as does one of the rear seats.   The head liner is nice with only a few poke marks/holes. The dash has no cracks.

The exterior has a few dings. etc.   The right corner of the front bumper has a ding.   There is a paint scrape (touch up paint would help it but I didn't want to cover anything up) on the right side and a small dent by the right rear fenderwell.   There is some tar behind the right wheel on the body. I just didn't have any paint thinner to clean it off.    The rear bumper has a scuff on the right side and a scuff and dent on the left side.   There is a scuff on the left side of the van as well (it is very small and not that noticeable).    There was vinyl lettering on it when I acquired it and you can still see some of the outlines (these were on the rear of the sides).   The front grill has been painted as it was a little faded when I got it.   There is some tape residue on the left rear window from where someone. years ago. had taped up the temp tag.   The outside window visor on the drivers door was damaged so I removed it.   There are chips and scratches here and there.   A good buffing and wax would really make it shine.

The front tires do not look that old.   The rear tires still have life in them as there not to the wear marks but will need to be changed sometime.

There is a jack and a used full size spare tire.   There is no owners manual.

Van has never towed a trailer.

Van was not smoked in.

Van can be driven home.

Van is ready to go to work day one.

I just purchased this van to resell and had to register it.    I registered it and it will take a week or so for me to get the title in hand.   This van was a one owner before last week.
