1972 Lincoln Continental mark 4
Plenty of mot and tax left and little used since mot.
engine is a correct ford 460ci v8. (7600cc so 7mpg is normal)  its recently had. oil pump. cam. all hydraulic followers. head gaskets. water pump. fuel pump. Mallory duel points distributor. rad re-core. hoses. good second hand exhaust manifolds and a full new exhaust. there is a comprehensive photosets of the car having this and many other jobs completed.


Body is fair. there are areas of minor corrosion and after a carb fire. (now rebuilt!)the middle of the bonnet has ripples in the paint
rear bumper was in a dreadful state and was treated and painted in bright silver. front bumper centre section is good but the corner bumpers are corroded.
it has new classic mirror edge plates that suit it well.
tires are all in great shape and it sits on seventies slot-mags.
headlight covers work fine although some vacuum systems are disconnected (cruise control)

inside is great. headlining really nice. new carpet two years ago. front seat more worn but not broken and falling apart. all leather cleaned and conditioned recently. the 8-track is fitted and its not been butchered to fit a new system. a previous owner fitted a floor shift for his own reasons.

it can be driven away with correct insurance no trailer needed.

The owner has a change in circumstance and has not been able to use and care for the old thing as it needs and deserves. lots of work has been completed and it needs little minor fettling to make an everyday car.
