Move over Hagglunds. there's a bigger badder machine finally arriving here in the states to replace you! The Nasu (also meaning "Piglet" in Finnish) is a tracked articulated. all-terrain transport vehicle developed by Sisu Auto for the Finnish Army. It consists of two units. with all four tracks powered. It can carry up to 17 people. although the trailer unit can be adapted for different applications.  This vehicle is fully amphibious and can swim in lakes. rivers. ocean. etc. This is the perfect vehicle for a cabin owner that needs a fast way to access their property quickly and comfortably in any weather conditions. It's also a very powerful workhorse for utility companies. oil field. or construction. These machines are very simple and easy to work on. They are extremely dependable. requiring very little maintenance and parts can be found at any local auto parts store since they use mostly GM and some Land Rover components. It can travel up to 40 mph while hauling 17 passenger and plenty of gear. I own 4 of these machines and do not know of any other Nasu's that exist here in the states so this vehicle will definitely be the talk of the town. wherever you go.

The Nasu is extremely easy to drive. It has a 4 speed automatic transmission. regular steering wheel. and a gas and brake pedal. My wife and kids love to drive it. The cabin is very comfortable with a large heater that keeps the front and rear cabs warm. People always ask if the trailer can be removed. The short is answer is yes. but you would't want to do that because the vehicle actually steers by pivoting in the middle much like a front end loader. The rear car also has power to it's tracks so it pushed while the front car pulls. these vehicles are almost impossible to get stuck. This thing dominates in the snow. mud. sand. etc. You can drive it in any season on any terrain. It has turn signals. headlights. horn. etc so it can actually be registered for street use as well.

Although it looks externally like the Hagglunds BV206 which also is in Finnish Army use. it is an entirely new design. and almost 1 meter longer and 1. 00 kg (2. 05 lb) heavier. It has better payload-carrying capability than the Bv 206. The Nasu is designed to carry troops and equipment through snow and bog-lands in northern Finland. For this. it is equipped with four wide (62 cm) powered rubber tracks. The Low Ground Pressure enables the Nasu to cope with a wide range of difficult conditions. It is fully amphibious. with a speed in water of up to 6 km/h (4 mph) when driven by its tracks.

The total load capacity is 1. 50 kg (4. 99 lb) and a trailer with a weight of up to 2. 00 kg (5. 12 lb) can also be towed behind the second compartment.

My name is Dave Sparks. people call me Heavy D. I have a TV show on Discovery Channel called Diesel Brothers. Vehicles are my passion. especially unique workhorses like this one. I have spent a lot of time in many different types of Military and all terrain vehicles but the Nasu is hands down my favorite. I'm only selling this one because I got a little carried away and purchased 4 of them.

This vehicle is located in Salt Lake City and we can help you arrange transport to anywhere in the world. Please call my shop manager Jim at 435-864-8514 if you have any questions or interest in this vehicle. It is in excellent working condition. You can find some measurements. specs. etc below.
