The car has recently arrived from South Africa. before it left it was resprayed. It is an original 1600 Sport 2 door well sorted to a good standard.

The good bits - looks great and runs great no rust. new interior seats. the usual strengthened South African shell. nice paint job. lovely sun roof (one clip is broken that needs fixing)

Bad bits - Dirty headlining with a rip. no choke but starts fine (Usual for South Africa). rear shelf needs covering just bare metal at the moment. Parts of the interior could do with work. but in all not bad for a 36 years old car.

The previous owner had in a 5 Speed gearbox. which was changed back to a 4 speed in South Africa. so the gearbox tunnel was cut for previous 5 speed and it does not have original driveshaft.   

Attached is a picture of the boot by the spare wheel. and you can see in South Africa it had a small rust spot which was patched with fiber glass (very common in South Africa) – this is the only place on the car I can identify any previous rust.

Previous owner also put a front spoiler on the car. as you can see from pictures. this part is out of fiberglass. Note that the 2 front fog lights are on car. as are missing in one of the pictures.

NOVA registered. all previous registration documents available. Just got a MOT. so good for 12 months. nbsp;I will supply a V55/5 I will have the car available in Heathfield East Sussex.
