This car was found in a barn in Santa Maria. Ca. where it had set for over 20 years. After draining the fuel and adding new fuel and a battery the car started right up. There was NO sign of past damage or rust. The car was dismantled and a very expensive paint job done. new engine head. clutch. tires and brakes. I purchased the car for my grandson however once the car was completed he had moved on to a newer car. he has put possibly 200 miles on the car. I believe. based on the original body and interior condition when found that this mileage is accurate and original but have no way to confirm that. I have owned enough vintage cars to believe I'm correct. The car runs GREAT
