This 1969 Camaro for sale has been built in the true spirit of the Yenko/ SC COPO. When Camaro entered the pony car fray in 1967 Don Yenko had already started building super cars in 1966 with the Chevy Corvair. named the Yenko Stinger. In 1967 Yenko began modifying the just introduced Camaro with the 427 CID L-72 power plant. The 1967 and 1968 Camaro was so successful. Don then was able to use the Central Office Production Order system {COPO} to have the L-72 installed on the assembly line; Quite an achievement for a little Chevrolet dealer from Canonsburg Pennsylvania. With all that said. this is a stunning tribute to the Yenko Super Car. Painted bright racing red accented with white striping and the Yenko designation. this Camaro for sale presents itself as a red hot beast. The bright chrome mag wheels wrapped in racing slicks with a wheelie bar in the back are pretty much a dead giveaway. Couple that with a parachute and it’s no doubt that straight line adrenaline is just a throttle stomp away.
