Triumph TR6

I am selling my 1975 Triumph TR6 in factory British Racing Green. It was subject to a body off restoration and all chassis work. floor pans etc have been restored as necessary. Front wings are steel originals. not fibreglass replacements.
This car was imported back from the States nearly 30 years ago and was put to RHD using a donor UK spec car which was used for all steering and some other necessary parts. Since then it has been a project that has been stopped and started as larger projects came along. The engine is the original 2. 5 twin carb and was rebuilt resulting in a really crisp and powerful lump that has yet to show its full potential. The chassis was restored where they normally fail to prevent future issues and then undersealed. The soft original rear Armstrong dampers have been replaced with new gas shocks using purpose manufactured brackets that allow the original dampers to be put back on if you really like that wallowing. numb TR6 rear end twitch ! My friend put these gas shockers on his TR6 and it is such a pleasure to drive.
The gearbox is fitted with an overdrive and the O/D switch is mounted on the top of the gear-lever like an MG. It's a really slick box and shifts well and doesn't pop out on over-run. The clutch and brake master cylinders have been replaced as has the brake servo. The driveshafts are good as is the prop and UJ's. Exhaust is a new single box. twin pipe. It has electronic ignition fitted.
This car comes with a huge amount of spares including new headlamps. trims. side repeaters. stainless wheel finishers. various centre caps and two of the tyres are original red-lines ! (Don't get excited - they are shot !!!) but all the tyres hold air. I have a full new interior carpet set and under felt kit. There is a full set of new interior door cards and trim panels. The seats have been professionally restored and recovered in the original beige colour but finished in a much nicer. softer leather style covering.
The car has been run and driven (on a private road I should add. )
It has all the import documentation. duty paperwork and letter of recognition from the British Motor Industry Heritage Trust giving all the original order details. build spec and ordered extras.
This car now wants someone to bolt on the various latches and catches. bits of trim. fit the interior and get it MOT'd and driven. If I didn't keep having Jeeps. trucks and tractors wheeled in its space to be restored. I'd do it myself and take it across Europe.
Cash on collection. no time wasters. tyre kickers (even the Redlines. ) and nobody asking me if I'd take some magic beans in part-ex.
This is a vehicle for restoration. it is not roadworthy so will need collection on a suitable trailer/transporter.
