1997 (P) Alfa Romeo 164 3.0 V6 Cloverleaf, manual

 Alfa 164 3. 0 V6 Cloverleaf. 1997 (P)

Perfect combination of Alfa Red. manual. 89k. with full black leather interior and mint alloys with near new matching Kumho tyres.  MOT until June 2013. tax until end of
August 2013.  Private plate (P1 OCS)  included.   Owned since June 201.

This car was previously owned by Mick Walsh. the then editor of Classic and Sportscar magazine. in which the car occasionally featured.

Cambelt. auxiliary belt and tensioners changed at 72k.  It comes with a hard to find cambelt replacement kit ready for when it needs doing again.

A new clutch fitted less than 500 miles ago. after the old one went "bang" on my way to the Nurburgring 24 hours.  Three keys (including master key). br> Alfa service wallet and owner's manual are all present.

Interior is in immaculate condition – full black leather. electric heated front seats. electric windows. electric door mirrors (folding + adjustment).
rear blinds. original Clarion tape deck and 6 CD changer.

Bodywork has no rust anywhere. although roof and bonnet have faded slightly (they all do that sir).  There are patches of flaky grey paint on one side
of the rear grey lower valance and a small matt patch on the top of the o/s front wing. no rust though.

Underneath is extremely solid and both the subframes have been waxoiled regularly and recently.

Comes fitted with mint 17 inch Alfa 156 Selespeed alloys. these are finished in graphite grey that works very well with the colour scheme.  I
have the 5 original multihole Speedline wheels (as per some pictures) with tyres available by negotiation. but these are in need of a refurb.

Some minor work required if you wanted to make 100%  - as is the case with 90% of these. the climate control LCD display is only partially visible
most of the time. the aircon doesn't blow cold. and the suspension has defaulted to Sport mode (what other mode would you want it in though ). and
the sunroof sometimes needs a helping hand.

The previous owner of near 4 years flushed the coolant system. changed the hydraulic fluid and power steering fluid. replaced the front brake pads. br> clutch slave cylinder and n/s steering rack gaiter. The oil and filter has been changed every 5000 miles.

Lots of receipts for the parts fitted and also for parts/servicing done by previous owners (including the cambelt change).  Lots of MOTs to back up
mileage.  I also have the workshop manual on CD. nbsp; and a CD of pictures of work being done by the previous owner "refreshing" various components and a DVLA print out of all previous owners.  After a long
search this was going to be a keeper but I couldn't resist buying back my old Alfa 156 GTA and I can't justify having 2 Alfa V6s on the drive.
