Cadillac Eldorado Biarritz 1960

I bought this car 5 years ago from an old guy who tried to restore it for 18 years.

He had put the car together but nothing was good enough. so I decided to do a frame off restoration. but have realized that I don't have the time to continue the restoration.

The frame are now completely done with new front wheel bearings. totally new front end kit including every ball joint and bushings etc. restored front org. drums. ew rubber bumpers. new spring insulators. ear wheel bearings. new rear axel seals(all 4 ). new shocks. ew rear drums. ew rear ball joint. new upper and lower control arms bushings.

The engine and transmission had been at a machine shop and is totally restored. I was told by the old owner. I lifted the cylinder heads and etc to make sure and every thing is new. it is bored 0. 030 with new pistons. new camshaft. new cam chain. the crankshaft is machined 0. 010 and balanced with the rods and piston. nd the cylinder head is also restored with new valve seats. see pictures.

On the transmission I only lifted the oil pan and it looks very clean. so I assume this one is also totally restored like the engine.

It also has a rebuilt water pump and starter. New engine mounts and new transmission mount.

The body etc. . the old owner has replaced three of the floor pans and you have to look at the pictures to see if it is good enough. it is not perfect done. ut look fairly good. also he have replaced both rear quarter panels. thats the reason there is serie 62 holes in it.

part of the trunk floor is also replaced. the bad part is part of the inner and outer rocker panels need to be replaced see all the pictures. Also some rust above rear wheel house. see pic.

Also the car is mostly complete but the front sofa is missing and the thin trim along the sides that is special for 1960 ( the ones that is about 3/8 inch wide or 9 mm ) are missing. he told me it got destroyed when he removed it. I have three smaller ones left of it. also I don't have the tri power set up.

The windsheild is brand new with the gasket/sealer(have been installed in the car though).

Front and rear bumper is re-chromed many years ago and has been sitting inside his garage. it is not show chrome but they look straight and fairly nice. the bad part is that on both front and rear middle part of the bumper there is 2 holes drilled on each and I suppose that they should not be there.

I got a new convertible vinyl top for it . it looks a little dirty but it is new  with the rear window.

Also the carpet was new but installed in the car.

I have a clear title in my name.

For international buyers or US buyers. IF YOU WANT. I will put the body back on the frame. attache the doors. ood. runk. enders and put the rest of the stuff inside the car and trunk to do it easier to ship the car or tow the car.
