Yes. i did the swap myself. I have put about 75 miles on it since completed.Yes. more or less sorted out.
No rust
I used an engine i had out of a 86 Camaro. Anout 75k on the motor.
No noises or problems with transaxle. shifts good.
After market guages for oil pressure and coolant temperature. No problems with electrics
