Up for sale is my '66 coupe.
Restored a few years ago in Raven Black gloss paint with Tempest Grey Le Mans stripes.  It features a red deluxe interior. all new at the time of restoration. including upholstery. dash pad. instrument. glove box bezel. carpets. headliner. weatherstrips. steering wheel. etc. It is powered by the original 289ci which has been rebuilt. providing a good amount of horsepower and torque; this is mated to the original gearbox. which is a top loader 4 speed manual.  The manual gearbox provides a good economy of power over the C4.   Other upgrades include electronic ignition. dual exhaust. aftermarket valve covers. new water pump. new fuel pump. At the time of restoration. new suspension was installed. including rear leaf springs and shocks. front leaf springs and shocks. with new control arms. anti roll bar. strut rods. and so on.  Disc brakes are fitted at the front. with rear drums at the rear.  There is an aftermarket Clarion radio in the dash. with 4 speakers inside the car.  On the exterior. it features a GT style package. with fog lights. Now the kicker. I've had this car a week. Yep. a week. Shopped around for one for ages. finally found a great example. picked it up last Tuesday. Now - it was always going to be a squeak to fit on my driveway but I called and checked with the landlord and council and was assured there would be no worries as long as the wheels were on the drive (the boot could overhang). Put it on the driveway Tuesday night. had a call from the landlord on Wednesday morning that a warden had come around and the council had complained already and the car has to go. I can't get a resident's permit for my area so it's move or sell the car. Absolutely gutted. So I can keep the car but have it in storage. or sell it and get something that fits on the driveway.

I've driven the car twice - home from the seller and to Sainsbury's yesterday as I'd run out of milk.
The only negatives with the car are:- Front right bush squeaks over speed bumps. Could probably do with being swapped out eventually. - The engine temp got a bit warm when I was stuck in traffic yesterday. Previous owner had said the original radiator was in place and should be swapped out if I was going to drive around busy central London or go on long motorway drives (70mph etc) - they run at about £160 on ebay and an afternoon of your time.
Send me a message with any questions and I'll answer when I can. I'm going to take a hit on what I paid given the semi-urgency to get it off the drive (no reserve) but will store it temporarily rather than take buttons for it.
