This is not a concourse car. but has been loving restored by me and my old man. there are some stone chips. little scuffs and 3 small rust scabs about 10mm wide on the back. it was done as a timewarp car not a show winner as I'm not that anal.
Only selling it as I've put so much time and money into it I'm scared to drive it anywhere. it's not getting the use it should. it hasn't even been driven on a wet road since we finished it. nbsp;and I've finally got hold of an E30 I've been after for some time.
It does have a few niggles- 1st to 2nd gearchange when cold at high revs will grind the synchro a little. but fine when its warm or you're gentle when its cold. (New gearbox oil too)
The odometer stopped sometime from the last MOT until now. although all the clocks work fine (backed up by old MOT's)
Central locking works fine on the key. but will bounce back when you lock it from the key fob. so it's only the actuator fighting a stiff mechanism. but I'm not stripping the door cards off to WD-40 it at this stage!
The headlining has also decided to drop typically. but i'll do my best to stick it back up (common fault on mk2's!)
It's a cracking little car. everything is stiff and like brand new. pulls like a train and stops on a dime. If i had dry storage I'd throw a sheet over it and let it just go up in value. but I've got too many cars and I'm flat out spending on this E30 so unfortunately she has to go. that said I've got dry storage for the winter now so i'm not giving it away. There are probably lots more new parts than i listed. I've just lost track!
Due to the massive amount of timewasters and idiots on eBay i'm not putting my phone number on here. if you're genuinely interested then email me with your landline number and i'll give you a bell for a chat and arrange viewing- oh and i'm not interested in any swaps.
Check my feedback as a long time genuine ebayer and know that you're dealing with a good bloke!
Thanks for looking
Oh and apologies for the rubbish photo quality- I had a right nightmare trying to transfer them to the laptop thanks to this poxy Windows 10 that I don't know how to drive!
Many photos of the resto available
