Seller's notes: The vehicle is mechanically sound. I've recently replaced: Door handles. Windscreen wipers, Fan belt, Rubber bumper trim, Front lights to make it legal for UK roads, Rear lights, Fuel tank hoses in boot, Boot carpets, Replaced radio with Pioneer Bluetooth MP3 player, Electronic Fuel Relay switch, Chrome trim. There is one minor dent on the front right wing and the paint has cracked in this area. There are no other dents and the bodywork has paint chips in several places - as you'd expect from a car 38 years old. There is a tear in the rear of the roof which I've temporarily gaffer taped. As far as I can tell there is no rust on the chassis - the joy of buying a vehicle that's lived its life in the dry heat of California.

Hello and thanks for viewing this beautiful car. which I've unfortunately had to re-list due to a timewaster. I purchased this left-hand drive Bug in L. A. last October and drove it across America to New York via some amazing places such as the Grand Canyon. Texas. New Mexico. New Orleans and Florida - over 3. 00 miles! The only problem I had along the way was a flat tyre and a broken fan belt. so you can say this car is very reliable. It starts first time without any hesitation. and drives very well.  It's MOT'd until January 2017 and has all the import duties paid.  Unfortunately there's no previous repair receipts but I have all receipts for the parts I've purchased. as well as the import documents.  A car restoration forces a very reluctant sale as this car and I have been on quite a journey together.  The previous owner has re-sprayed it orange and I've included a photo of the same model/year and original colour - which was on sale for US $19. 95. 00 - so there's huge potential.  *The seller reserves the right to withdraw/cancel the auction at any time.  **Cash on collection/bank transfer/Paypal accepted.
