This is a 1959 100e mot and tax exempt.  Its been on the drive for a couple of years with intention of starting a project but hasn't took off! Its sad to see her go but another project needs to get done. Just before i bought it the previous owner who owned a vehicle repair garage put on 4 new Maxis tyres. lso had a fuel tank repair. ew Fuel lineNew Brake linesnew brake cylinders all roundBrake overhaulmaster cylinderssteering box was tightened also
Last taxed and on the road was 2012.
The engine did run. and i did drive it to where it is parked now however it will need a new battery to get started. Its not had an mot in the time ive had it and will need to be trailerd away. The handbrake has always been left off and the tyres still hold air so moving it isnt a problem. Interior is tatty but all the switches. lights/indicators ect worked when i last it running. Exterior not too bad. It has small bits of surface rust on most panels (i think they call it patina)! but has rust in the usual places. like bottom of wings but lower wing repair panels are cheap and available. Rear arches a bit crusty in places and sills but can be saved. Chassis and floor is good. It will make a nice project and keeping it original shouldnt take much to get it back on the road but if your wanting it mint then it'll need a complete restoration. I have the original log book that has service stamps ect. although when i checked. the engine number is different to the original.
Currently on the log book has 2 previous owners 1 of which an old lady who had it from new 1959 to 1996. when i aquired the car i wasn't sure i was keeping it so i filled the trade section in (im not a trader) but i didn't want another name on the log book as its rare for a car of this age to have so few owners. Ive spoken to the DVLA and its a a standard case of filling in the new keeper section 6 and posting as normal.
Cash on collection please
Thanks for looking
