1988 Jaguar XJS V12 coupe 5343 cc


only 63. 00 miles


We bought this some time ago with the intention of turning it into a TWR replica racer


Bodily the car was sound but it had extensive laquer peel on bonnet . oof and boot and a few

minor rust spots elsewhere but our plan was to repaint it in TWR livery. widen the arches and fit bigger race wheels


someone had already half fitted TWR type bumpers. and that needs finishing properly


We stripped out all the interior intending to fit race seats and a full roll cage. fire system. etc and that is as far as we got



The engine is fine as is the gearbox which we were going to change to a Getrag box and everything works as it should . There are

 quite a of interior bits like the radio and computer with the car


I now realise we are unlikely to finish the car in the forseeable future. so have decided to let it go -- too many other projects!!


These V12s are undoubtedly bound to become classics


There is a V5. a leather Jaguar wallet with service book. drivers handbook etc but not much other detailed history
