1985 Mercedes-Benz SL-Class

I am selling this car for the owners. I will relate my personal observations and convey any questions to them. please allow for response time as they are elderly and not tech savvy.  
Emblem indicates a 560 SL. however the car is a 1985 380 SL. the last year of this series.  

This a rust free two owner California car from new. a clean original example. always garaged. carefully driven and well maintained by the non smoking wife of a physician.  The owner can no longer drive.  
Dealer maintained with extensive maintenance records dating from the 1980's to present. over $33. 00 invested. Original manufacturer manuals.
The car drives well. engine has plenty of acceleration with no hesitation and very quiet. nbsp;transmission shifts smoothly. Braking is tight and responsive.
Paint is believed to be all original. the quality is good with plenty of luster. with the usual age related blemishes.  some road chips. minor dimples on doors. one small dent on right fender ( see photo) with paint re-touch. The trunk lid shows some hazing.  
Panel fit is tight with correct alignment. Doors open and close smoothly. no rattles.  
Hard top is in excellent condition. no dents or fading. current owners never removed it. soft top is factory original and was recently raised after being stowed for over 30 years. canvas is in excellent condition. fit is tight. plastic windows are clear without yellowing.
Bumpers are clean. correct alignment. chrome and rubber in very nice condition.  
Chrome throughout car is in excellent condition.  
Glass is clear. no cracks or haze.  
Leather is in good condition. with the usual patina from age. no cracking and minimal fading. typical wear on edge of drivers seat from entry and exit. Vinyl is excellent. no tears or fading.  
Dashboard is pristine. no fading or cracking. wood inlays. clean. no cracking or fading.  
Knobs. switches. levers all functioning. gauge lenses clear and scratch free. Emergency brake knob is missing.
Carpets are clean and soil free.  
Original Becker radio.  
Everything works as designed w the exception of the AC which does not blow cold. Records show compressor was replaced and system converted to 134-a refrigerant.  
Chrome wheels. left front missing center cap. plating in areas shows bubbling/flaking. but no rust present.  
Tires have plenty of tread. Original spare in trunk.  
Current CA Registration and smog.  
Exterior is Signal Red with a Palomino interior.
Gold Package
