GM Heritage Center at the Oldsmobile Archive Center reports 549 1970 Cutlass Supreme convertibles were produced with close ratio M21 4 speed transmissions.

Total production of 203 with 4 Speed and the following options:

While this is without a doubt one of the very best matching numbers 4 speed available. on many levels.  

This car has had a total frame off restoration in 2006 when completed.

NOTES & UPGRADES:

ü  Engine was professionally rebuilt. bored to . 0030 over. w/ new forged aluminum pistons. reconditioned rods. nbsp; new chrome molly rings. new W-31 cam w/ hydraulic lifters. heads were redone with hardened valve seats with SS valves & new matching valve springs to cam.   New oil pump. New electronic Mallory distributor. coil & wiring

ü  The M-21 4 speed was taken apart. inspected and reassembled w/all new gaskets (all parts were in excellent condition with no repairs needed)  

ü  Front disk brakes were added w/new rotors & calipers. Rear drum were turned w/new shoes and cylinders. (have original front drum brake setup)

ü  New polyurethane suspension & transmission bushings

ü  New 4 core Aluminum radiator with duel "Flex-a-lite" electric fans w/controller

ü  New "HOOKER" Ceramic coated headers

ü  Duel 2 1/2" X-pipe w/Flow-master 50 's

ü  Edelbrock aluminum intake (have original cast-iron intake)( Has original reconditioned 750 cfm quad-dra-jet carburetor w/new electric choke module.

ü  Original AM/FM radio was upgraded with am/fm stereo digital board and connected to a CD/DVD player mounted in an original 8-track tape player housing.

ü  New electric clock working mechanism

ü  New top hydraulic pump lines 

ü  New high quality "top of the line" Cloth Top w/Glass rear window)

ü  Front & rear Bumpers were re-chromed( Rear bumper has 442 cutouts for duel exhaust)

ü  All body trim was re-chromed or SS polished

ü  New front grills. headlight housing assembly & headlight Bezels.

ü  New door. trunk. hood & top weather seals by Steel Rubber products

ü  New front tinted windshield

ü  Interior dash plastic was re-chromed

ü  Original wheels were replaced with American racing aluminum 16" x 8" front and rear(Have 5 original 14" Super Sport 1 wheels & tires)

ü  New door & quarter panels w/inside and outside window weather stripping
