1968 Lincoln Lehmann-Peterson Executive Limo NO RESERVE!

Built in Chicago for J. Ribakoff of Palm Beach. FL. in late 1967. this L-P is one of 56 1968's built and of 11 known to exist today. Options when new included the TV antenna. special headrests. two extra door assist straps. and a a 2" increase in headroom (the "raised roof" option). making this rare. even for a Lehmann-Peterson.    Lincoln and L-P build sheets included. along with a 3" binder containing receipts for all recent work.   Purchased by the current owner in June. 2008. substantial restoration items (well over $40. 00 spent since) include:

New leather interior

Updated rear electronics including new 12V flat screen DVD player and stereo. and an inverter.

Rebuilt front end including bushings and springs

Stainless exhaust

New motor and transmission mounts

Rebuilt forward a/c. replaced rear with Vintage Air unit

New correct wheels and tires. rebuilt front brakes

New vinyl top with repairs to opera window

Both clocks converted to quartz.

New. dual battery system with isolator

New Edelbrock Performer carburetor and Pertronix ignition

Substantial rewiring and paint work

New custom car cover

Mechanical work also included new belts & hoses. a new 220 amp alternator. window and divider switches & motors. and much more. Far too many new parts to list completely.   Very light usage since 2008 and no winter use.   The front radio does not work. but that's about it on the negative side.

I'm selling because I simply haven't used the limo much and cannot store it with my other cars and still have an aisle (it's still stored indoors. though); splitting my good-weather driving with 19 other collector cars. Note: in the prior listing. I was asked about the L-P stainless rocker trim. which is included (although in poor shape) but is not on the car.   We were hoping to find better ones- they were one-piece (not cobbled from standard Lincoln parts as some believe) and thus are not available or reproduced at this time.   We have filled holes and removed snaps so that it looks like it was never there. a process that can be reversed by the buyer if new ones are found.
