1936 Ford Other

Up for sale is this 1936 Ford 5-Window Coupe.   The car was restored in the 90's and has been garage kept since the restoration.   The car is 100% Henry Ford steel. no glass.   This is a trunk car. not rumble seat.   The car was built to fairly original spec's. but with a few upgrades.   Underside is clean. with no holes or rot.  

Motor - 1948 239ci flathead V8 (59ab) - No performance upgrades. but I do have a set of Edelbrock heads that I will include for an additional $600 on top of the sales price
Transmission - 3 speed
Brakes - Juice brakes (hydraulic)
Rear end was upgraded with 3. 54 gears
Steering - Late 30's steering box. manual steering but steers like it has power - can drive with 1 finger
Suspension - Factory with the exception of modern shocks on the front
Wheels/Tires - Factory wheels with near brand new Coker bias ply whitewall tires - comes with 3 extra spares. all with brand new Coker tires.  
Interior - Interior is nice and is in very good shape. Seat is leather.   Headliner is in good condition. as is the rear deck.   Carpet floors in good shape.
Electrical - Upgraded to 12 volt with alternator.   Upgraded 12v wiper motor. functions properly. Original gauges work (voltage reducers). Headlights. tail lights. blinkers. interior dome lamp. all work.   Has electric fan with switch in cab in case you need to turn on manually. but automatically comes on when motor warms up.   Has electric fuel pump to back up the factory pump.   I've never had to use it. but it's nice to have a backup just in case.
Glass - All glass was replaced when the car was restored.   Front windshield pops out. side windows roll up/down. as does the rear window.  
Paint - Color is light fast maroon. which is the original color of the car - Driver quality. but shows very well
Spare tire cover on rear of car - I currently have the spare tire cover off. but it will come with the car.   It's very easy to install. just a few bolts.   I also installed shorter rear bumper brackets to suck the bumper closer to the car. I still have the original bumper brackets and license plate holder that goes on the driver side tail light. will include those in the sale.   Again. very easy swap.  

This 80-year old car is a great driver.   The motor starts and runs very well.   Does not overheat. has never left me stranded.   Clutch is fairly new and the trans shifts nicely.   I've taken it on 50-mile drives and it handles the highway as it should.

Car is sold as-is. where-is. no warranty.  

I will help with shipping where needed. but it's at the cost of the buyer.
