This listing is for a 1998 BMW E36 M3 manual sedan. Car is finished in Alpine White with a black leather interior. Current mileage is about 96. 00. That figure could go up slightly as I still drive the car on occasion.
The exterior of the car is in good overall condition. However. as with any car pushing 20-years. there are a few bumps and bruises. The front end of the car is surprisingly clean. but there are a few rock chips. The plastic headlight covers could use a polish. Each front fender has a small dent. There is another dent just under the taillight on the driver's side. with some scuffing below on the bumper. Other than that. the car has good paint all around with straight body panels.  Wheels are in good overall condition but do show some signs of wear. Tires are Continentals and have plenty of life left. There is a small chip in the windshield.
The car has been lowered on H&R springs over Koni shocks. The only other non-factory items to note are yellow fog lights and a small deck lid spoiler. Car has never had a front license plate bracket. which is a bonus.
The interior is clean but not flawless. The bottom cushion of the driver's seat has dry leather and has developed a crack. It looks as though moisture sat on it once upon a time. The rear seat on the driver's side also shows similar wear. although it's limited to just along the seams. There are no other significant cracks or tears in the leather.
Dashboard shows no warning lights and the on-board computer works as it should. The original radio is fully functional. although I don't think the speakers in the driver's side door are working. Driver's side window is a little slow to go down but rolls up without issue. The upper-seat adjustment for the driver's seat is the only other non-functional item I'm aware of.
No issues with the drivetrain. Car goes. drives and stops as you'd expect an E36 M3 to. No leaks or smoke.
The clutch on the AC compressor is starting to go bad. which causes a slight rattle at idle when the AC is on. AC still blows ice cold. I believe there is also a loose heat shield somewhere that causes an intermittent rattle. Both are minor annoyances but worth noting for the next owner.
The car was recently serviced by Enthusiast Auto Group in Cincinnati. Service included an oil change. cooling system flush. new clutch pedal and a new air bag sensor for the passenger's side seat. Additionally I have installed a new valve cover gasket. door handle surrounds. cowl cover. rear window surround and brake circuit.
CarFax shows no accidents.
Clean E36 M3/4/5s like this one are getting harder and harder to find. especially in the price range of my reserve.
The fine print:I have described this vehicle to the best of my abilities. but it's possible I might have missed something. If you have any specific questions or need any other photos. please let me know. Also. feel free to contact me about inspecting the car before you bid.

Update: I've been getting a lot of questions about rust. which is understandable since the car is currently in the midwest. However. this M3 has obviously been well cared for during its life as I haven't found any signs of body rust.
Please keep those questions coming!
