1968 Corvette Roadster

Built Dec 1967. Number matching C3 car. 327/4spd 350HP engine. HT code engine. L79 code car. 4. 11 LSD.  Would cost around $28. 00 ex US without rest costs according to NCRS valuation. Full NSW rego. Car was owned by US TV Star/ Judge W Keene. He was the Judge in the Charles Manson trial and the Judge on the TV shoe Divorce Court. One owner from 1968 to early '90s. Car was then stored until 2010 where it was auctioned at Corvettes of Carlisle (have details) for $24. 00 and then imported. All original books. wners manuals. warranty book with POP plate and envelope etc. Even has original service stickers on door jamb. Original sales brochure and dealer info kit available. Complete 2 year restoration except body-off. Over $50. 00 spent. Hundreds of receipts and photo's of rebuild. I did the rebuild in my garage as a retirement project. All original number matching parts available. Camel-hump heads. nbsp;carby. distributor. wheels/tyres. brake callipers etc. Still fitted with original undamaged bumpers. all body panels and still has original mufflers fitted. $8. 00 spent on engine rebuild using original block. 40 thou rebore. original crank reconditioned and all rotating parts balanced to 8000rpm. Alloy heads. 600cfm Edelbrock. Edelbrock RP  aluminium manifold. Hooker headers. roller rockers. street performance cam. HEI distributor. electric fan. new larger radiator. New engine. gearbox and diff mounts. Body was undamaged. but $10. 00 spent on preparation and original Polar White colour. No rust in chassis. LA car since new. All hidden interior spaces photographed. All new front and rear suspension bearings. joints. mounting rubbers etc fitted. some Noelathane. Fibreglass rear spring. new KYB gas shocks. New SS O ring sealed 4 spot brake callipersGearbox overhauled and new bearings and synchros fitted.  Diff overhauled and new bearings fitted. All new door trims. arpet and seats. Even has original operation stickers on jack compartment door and original number matched jack. All new rubber weather sealing strips. new folding roof material. 2 sets of wheels and tyres. original and optional. Actual genuine number matched trim rings and centre caps on steel wheels.
