I have finally decided to sell my 1969 Camaro convertible Super sport/Rally sport with 396 cubic inch 375 horsepower engine equipped with L-89 winters aluminum heads. The 396 cubic inch 375 horsepower casting # 3955272  engine was built by Ronnie Prestwood racing engines in Lenior. North Carolina. The motor runs very strong with Comp Cams nostalgic series L78 /L89 solid cam and lifter combo with roller tip rockers.  The correct vintage winters gm aluminum intake casting # 3933163 and winters aluminum heads casting # 3946074 are up top to make the motor breathe nicely.  Holley 780 cfm carb. MSD pro billet setup with MSD wires   and has aftermarket Vintage Air a/c that blows ice cold for those hot summer days . this car has had a full frame off. no expense spared 2 year rotisserie restoration that started with blasting the body and frame. then new gm NOS quarter panels were installed not cheap reproduction quarters. nbsp;to make the body a completely rust free canvas to spray the factory original code 76 Daytona yellow paint with correct black hockey fender stripes. The original black convertible top was replaced and a correct new top was installed that has only been down once. The interior in in excellent shape and is custom style interior with black custom weave seat pattern. The exhaust starts with aftermarket Hooker competition long tube headers flowing into a custom made 3 inch exhaust going through one transverse Flowmaster muffler into dual chrome factory style exhaust tips. The transmission is automatic with 2800 rpm stall converter. Out back is a 12 bolt posi with stamped BT code with original 3. 55 ratio gm posi gears and posi carrier. Suspension in rear is a set of  original gm factory installed 5 layer heavy duty leaf springs.
This 1969 camaro RS/SS convertible is in excellent shape and drives excellent as well.  I have a full photo album containing all the pictures of the  professional restoration. I also have a folder with well over $40. 00 of invoices from parts and work done during the restoration. The wheels are a rare N66 factory option that was discontinued early on in 1969 Camaro production as an available option. The engine bay area and the underbody were detailed and part number tagged to recreate the day it left the factory look. The hood is the original early optioned ss hood. The car does have the front and rear spoiler option. The original RS headlight vaccum system was replaced with aftermarket electric headlight door motors and they are very fast to open and close. I do have the original vaccum sytem included with the car.  This a very well built and hard to find 1969 Camaro convertible RS /SS as they only made a few thousand of these convertibles with big block motors and maybe less in this color option Daytona yellow.  You can drive anywhere and it's worthy of being in any car show you take the car. I have won a trophy at every show I attended with the car. I'm looking for $59999 with $1. 00 deposit due within 24 hours after listing is ended. I will help arrange shipping and loading the car at the buyers expense. Please check my feedback and rest assured you will get what you payed for and then some. Call (804)382-9319 with any questions . I do reserve the right to end the auction early as the car is for sale locally. nbsp;thanks for your interst and have a blessed day.
