This is a really good project that has many original features.

Westfalia is one of the oldest names in camper vans. the company being established in 1951 in the region of Westphalia. Germany. From the beginning Westfalia has built up an enviable reputation for design and quality. a fact as true today as it has been over the years. Back in the 60's - 90's Westfalia were the only approved converter of Campervans by VW. This was due to their high standards held and those expected from VW.

Contemporary Volkswagens as well as other marks are still currently being converted. The Westfalia Continental is arguably one of the best and most desirable conversions. It sleeps up to 4. with a full width rock ‘n' roll bed below and a large double in the top.

Here for sale we have our 1977 Right Hand Drive Westfalia camper project. Daisy. As you can see Daisy is off the road and in need of some tlc. Daisy has had her engine code CB700 taken out in preparation for the restoration which unfortunately hasn't happened. The last owner informed me that the engine was very reliable and had quite a lot of money spent on it. including an overhaul and has recently had a brand new exhaust fitted.

We were intending to carry out the works earlier this year to see the last of the summer months out and about touring around the UK. I was made redundant which has left us selling Daisy on as a project bus. She comes complete with the rear bumper as well as a box of other spares.

There is a lot of welding work required. as well as a paint job required to put Daisy back on the road and at present she is stored at my local VW garage.

The interior of the bus is outstanding and was one of the main reasons we purchased Daisy with the intent to restore her. She still retains her original cupboards. beds. fabric. curtains. cooker. fridge. sink etc.

We have been told as Daisy is a late Westfalia with rear hinging roof she is one of the most desirable vans to restore and the fact she is also Right hand drive just adds to the rarity.

The bottom 6" of the bus and elements underneath are in need of the main attention. the above parts are relatively good. my local garage have commented on how clean the gutters are which can be a real headache if not.

I have tried to be as honest as possible in my description and hope all the photos help. You are more than welcome to contact me to arrange a viewing on 07929974575.
