This is a much loved 1969 MGB GT in Mineral Blue with overdrive.  Everything works as it should and it has an MOT until November. We'll be happy to MOT it for another 12 months if you buy it.
My son and husband bought the car just over 5 years ago. They've carried out extensive restoration work so that they could use it in classic car events and international regularities. They've done about 1700 miles since it was put back on the road. Unfortunately they don't get time to use it now. So. sadly. they've decided to let it go to someone who has the time to enjoy it. The car's been stored in a garage since the work was completed.
The MGB was bought as a 'running shell' that had just been welded and sprayed. It also had a lot of the running gear renewed.
My son had a local classic car body specialist sympathetically change the look of the car (added valances to replace the bumpers). They also refitted the interior and replaced some of the older parts to make sure it was as reliable as possible (a must for the international events). Here's some of the work that's been completed (as much as they can remember for now). I'll add additional info / photos as they find it:

They were going to upgrade the brakes to a dual circuit configuration as it's more reliable. This was used on 1969 models in the USA so is allowable for classic car regularities and events etc. Engine bay respray – the engine bay wasn't painted along with the rest of the car. seems a shame not to have a new coat of paint as so much else has been replaced. Theres a small mark. about an 1/2 inch long. in the bottom of the front valance. If you want to come and see the car. or want to know more. please drop me an email or call on 07948 742113.
