Here at gateway Classic Cars of Houston we have this beautiful glossy red 1966 Chevrolet Nova II. If you have never owned a ‘66 Chevy Nova II before then I’ll give you a little history lesson on these wonderful cars. 1966- 1967 was the years when the 2nd gen came about. External proportions were squared up but dimensions and features changed little. You had the 3 trims to choose from. the 100. 00 or the SS. And you had 3 choices of engine to choose from the inline 4. Inline 6 or the V8. The SS trim was available with either the inline 6 or a 327 CID V8. This one in particular is a true SS that originally came with an inline 6 from factory. But now it’s been coupled with a rebuilt 327 V8 with LS Specs and mated to that is a 5 speed Tremec manual transmission. This car has seen 3. 65 miles since it’s been rebuilt and it’s in very great shape! The Nova SS also comes equipped with Cold AC. Am/fm radio. Power steering. seat belts. Rally wheels. Quick Fuel Carb. MSD Ignition. Front disc brakes. CalTracs rear suspension and restored audio system. New Carpet was also installed during the restoration; glass is in really great shape and no patched panels with original trunk floor. Overall this is a really beautiful restoration and it’s even better in person. The interior is very well restored and shows quite well. The sound of the exhaust system is something to talk about.
