1958 Chevrolet Other Pickups

 1958 Chevy Pickup 3100

Truck was brought back from Arizona in 2002Previous owner painted the truck. it was a "20 ft" quality paint job. I decided to go for more of a rat rod look and sanded/scuffed up that paint job
New 350 crate motor (260HP base engine) installed in 2003.   This was the kit from Pace with all accessories. 4bbl carb. intake. distributor. etcHas Corvette cast iron exhaust manifolds and 3" pipe with turbo mufflers leading out in front of rear wheels. not too loud but nice sound
Has the CPP power steering added with Ididit steering column
Rebuilt speedoAftermarket stereo and speakers (hidden in the vent panels)Rebuilt heater

Some things known wrong with truck:  I bought truck in Arizona so body panels are almost all very clean. but see photos of rear cab corners. driver and pass. side have some rust. may have been repaired at one time.   Also look at photos of the driver side "running board"/step inside the cab--this is kind of banged up over the years. I never got around to replacing it.
Heater was replaced and works. the motor bearing makes a squeal sometimes at some motor speedsDriver side door handle could use replacement. the latch or spring is weak and you will need to push the door handle button to unlatch before closing the doorSomeone backed into passenger side lower fender behind wheel. notice in the picture the slightly different color paint.   That area was bumped out and some body filler used. Door seals could be replaced. there is some leakage in the rainDr. and passenger windows work. but when rolling up. you need to grab hold of the glass and rock it a little to complete rolling up windowsThe vent windows work. but the pins should be replacedThe wipers at some time over the years made some small scratches in the windshieldSeat is not terrible. but has some tears and some issues at the seams
