This R code convertible has been very well cared for and garaged all of its life. Most recently a brand new 427 V8 with triple 4 bbl carbs was installed and it looks. runs and drives fantastic! The original "R" code 390 V8 was removed and put into storage and will come with the car. This Galaxie 500 looks amazing and is solid throughout without rust or damage. The top is like new. the interior is original and in great shape and everything works without issue. The factory radio has been replaced with a period correct am/fm/cassete stereo. the power top works wit ease. the top is in great shape as is the back window. The wire wheels are in great condition without pitting. As you can see from the photos the factory stamps are sill on the sheet metal. This is a great car that would be a welcome addition to any collection. The car is located at my clients home in Maryland. If you are the winning bidder a $500 nonrefundable deposit is required within 24 hours of auction's close. All transactions must be completed within 7 days of the end of auction.

 

New Jersey residents will be required to pay sales tax at the time of delivery.   

 

Out of state buyers have the option of purchasing a 20 day out of state temporary tag to be used with the vehicle. You are responsible for all applicable taxes. title and licensing fees in your area.

 

We accept the following forms of payment. certified bank checks. aypal. bank to bank wire transfers and cash in person at time of delivery. Personal checks are accepted but must clear before the car can be delivered. If the deposit is not received within twenty-forty hours (1 business day) or if the sale is not complete within 7 days of the close of the auction. we reserve the right to sell to the next highest bidder or to another qualified buyer. ATTENTION INTERNATIONAL BUYERS: Please be aware that you will be responsible for the Federal Reserve fee(s) charged for all incoming wires).

 

Once you place a bid you are entering into a legal binding contract and in doing so agree that if you are the winning bidder you will make all attempts to follow the rules and regulations as listed by the auction company to purchase the car. We reserve the right to hire legal counsel at the buyer’s expense to help collect monies owed if a purchased item remains unpaid for more than 10 business days.
